Hey, I’m Matt—the lead photographer behind Fielder’s Choice Photography, a South Jersey sports photography company built around one simple idea: the moments surrounding the game are just as memorable as the game itself.

I’ve been capturing moments for more than 15 years, specializing in sports photography, action photography, athlete portraits, and lifestyle photography. Sports have always been a major part of my life. I grew up playing them, I’m still an avid sports fan, I've coached youth sports, and as a parent, I’ve spent countless hours on sidelines and pool decks watching my son compete.

Those experiences have shaped the way I photograph athletes.

Anyone can take a picture of the scoreboard. I want to capture the story behind it.

The focus before the game. The intensity of competition. The reaction after a big play. Teammates celebrating. Coaches encouraging their athletes. Parents watching from the sidelines. And those little moments you don't realize you'll miss until the season is over. My approach to sports photography combines candid storytelling with professional action photography to document the complete experience—from pregame preparation and live game action to sidelines, emotion, celebrations, and postgame moments. The goal isn't simply to give you pictures of your athlete playing. I want to give you photographs that remind you exactly what it felt like to watch them play.

Fielder’s Choice Photography provides professional sports photography throughout South Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area for youth athletes, high school athletes, college athletes, travel and club teams, schools, families, and sports organizations. I photograph a wide variety of sports, including baseball, softball, football, soccer, swimming, basketball, volleyball, hockey, cheerleading, track and field, and more. Services include Individual Game Sessions, Team Game Sessions, Team Media Days, and creative athlete Sportraits.

Whether I'm documenting one athlete for an entire game, covering a team, or creating dramatic portraits during a Media Day or Sportrait session, every session is designed around the athletes and the personality of their sport.
